The focus is on connecting downtown to the greatest asset – the beautiful Snake River. The Idaho Falls Downtown Development Corp. has partnered with the City of Idaho Falls and the Idaho Falls Redevelopment Agency for a traffic study and design criteria results from the public. As we move forward, the next step is to look at the possible options in 2 areas: engineering and an architectural landscaping. By blending the district into an expanding park and river-walk, the community and visitors will have an exciting gathering place filled with an array of activities. We are excited about the future for Historic Downtown Idaho Falls. This is our heritage – the heartbeat of the community!
